Set the Voyage

For years, as I’ve lived across Australia and New Zealand, I’ve carried a weighty dream. It sparks every time I connect with my Pasifika communities — provides moments where I feel anchored, reminds me of who I am and why I create. I’ve always wanted to give back to the communities that raised me, and the ones I represent.

In every step of my career, I’ve worked hard to climb, to grow, and to become more successful. The higher I moved, the more I started noticing the ceilings — the subtle limitations placed around people like me. Even when I had the skills, the work ethic, and the results, I could feel the edges.

Don't let your past or mistakes hold you back from setting voyage on your dreams.

Originally, I thought I would consult much later in life — after I had collected every credential, combed through every niche in the digital marketing world, and planned to enter the space with absolute authority but then life shifted. The economy changed. And in that shift, I began to recognise the opportunity sitting in front of me.

The conditions were perfect for me to set voyage — and I needed to jump before the tide changed.

In following this dream, I’ve been able to connect with brilliant, passionate people — innovators, creatives, community-builders. People who are grounded in who they are and brave enough to build something from it. That energy has sparked something in me. I realised how vital it is to surround yourself with people who push past limitations, who aren’t afraid to fail, evolve, or reimagine their paths.

I held back for a long time. I told myself I needed more time, more evidence, and more permission but the truth is: I couldn’t keep waiting. The calling was clear, and it wasn’t going anywhere. I had to move.

We come from people who voyaged beyond the reef — who crossed oceans guided by stars, courage, and instinct. That legacy lives in us. We weren’t meant to stay small. We are meant to expand.

Set your own voyage in motion.

Follow the journey, explore the work, or connect if you’re ready to move with intention.
